Within walking distance to a traditional village pub, gardencentre with Cafe and a handy local shop, this cosy cottage is the perfect base from which to explore Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands, Windermere, Hawkshead, Coniston and the rest of the Southern Lake District.

There is a comfortable Kingsize bed in the Master Bedroom, a lovely dressing room and a spacious shower room, a welcoming cosy lounge for after a day out. With a well equipped kitchen and there's even a lovely bright Sunroom from when the weather stops you being outsde, everything is there for you to have the perfect "home from home" getaway.

Lavender Cottage is Dog Friendly, and there are lots of walks right from the door.  There is also secure storage for any sports equipment you may want to bring.

The Beach, Holker Hall and Cartmel Racecourse are within walking distance, all surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside; there are so many places to explore.......
