Prices and Booking Information
Lavender Cottage is available for direct booking. As we live close by, we manage the cottage and booking ourselves. Any enquiries will be answered as soon as possible, we both work so will get back to you as soon as possible! However, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Our online booking system accommodates the following stay options:
- 4-night midweek breaks (Monday to Friday)
- 3-night weekend breaks (Friday to Monday)
- 7-night full week stays starting on either Friday or Monday.
The cottage sleeps 2 people and up to 2 dogs.
Payments are made with a secure link to make payment using Credit/Debit Card, or PayPal.

We don't charge extra for up to two well-behaved dogs, but please ensure they are included in your booking so we can make sure we leave their Welcome Pack too!
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before your holiday start date. If your booking is made within 4 weeks of your stay, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Please note, we can only hold your dates once the booking deposit (or full amount, if within 4 weeks) has been paid.
- If you cancel after paying the deposit, or fail to pay the balance when due, your booking will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.
- If you cancel within 4 weeks of your arrival, after the balance has been paid, unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund.
- If you don't pay the booking fee when you make your booking and do not respond to our attempts to contact you, then we reserve the right to cancel your booking so that the dates remain available to other guests. We will always attempt to contact you before doing so.
- If you cancel your holiday after paying the booking fee, or you fail to pay the balance when due, and do not respond to our attempts to contact you, then your booking will be cancelled and the booking fee will not be refunded.
- If you cancel your holiday after paying the balance and with less than 4 weeks to go then unfortunately we cannot issue a refund

The cottage is NOT baby/child friendly due to the living flame gas fire and open stairs, and the proximity to the river, so for this reason we do not accept bookings with children or babies.
